Unintentional ASMR - Outrageous Openness

I live in Australia but many of my friends and subscribers live in North America. As I sit here in the early morning hours of 9 March in Australia, International Women’s Day 2019 is nearing its end in North America. I’ve been quietly watching all of the beautiful posts from my friends, women I know, men, businesses, etc. celebrating all that is divinely feminine. I’ve been reflecting on what an exhilarating journey I’ve been on over the past 6 months building my little shop and fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a business owner myself. It’s been so wonderful and eye opening reaching out to the truly exceptional brands I’m working with, learning their stories and building relationships with the smart, powerful and courageous women who started them. I’m so inspired by them. Happy International Women’s Day to all of you badass babes out there. And to me too for finally finding my power and taking The Leap from the Lion’s Head. (My all time favourite expression of absolute faith.)

Unintentional ASMR Feature

So speaking of badass babes, I found some unintentional ASMR. Ooooh don’t you just love a good unexpected ASMR nugget? They’re the best. I’m addicted to Audible these days and I’ve been devouring audio books on business, self improvement, spirituality, etc. but boy, oh boy I found a gooder on the bus on the way to my doctors appointment a couple of days ago. It’s called Outrageous Openness by a beautiful lady named Tosha Silver, whose voice sounds like a scoop of rose infused epsom salts sliding into a warm bath. For reals. She’s an Astrologer by trade (and quite a gifted one) but was encouraged to start writing via a stroke of divine intervention. This is what her book is about actually – the divine path. Allowing the universe, your instincts, God, the force inside you (whatever your own heart calls It) to take the wheel and gently guide you along through the wild and crazy ride that is life. This book arrived at the perfect time for me. I’ve been stressing out about many things in my life and trying to do exactly that, because I understand that it’s the only path to peace. However, it can be really tricky to strike that right balance between really going for what you want in life and not taking “No” for an answer, but also allowing the great force that is divine life energy to “guide your sword” and take you where you’re meant to be. She talks a lot about asking the universe for signs. This is something I really believe in and look out for future blog posts about signs from the universe.

Anyway, I’m going to keep this short today.  I need to get out and buy a new mic stand because I had been borrowing one from my partner’s vocalist and he needed it back….

If you would like to know more about Tosha and all her books and courses, visit her website here. She’s got a bit of a trailer for that particular book Outrageous Openness here and there’s a little free guided meditation on that page which I’ve embedded down below. The Audible version is available here. (This recommendation is not sponsored in any way.)

And finally, I’d like to draw your attention to the beautiful (if I do say so myself) black and white photo of me being “Outrageously Open in honour of International Women’s Day”, featured at the top of this blog. It was taken by another totally badass business owning babe friend of mine, Jacqueline Jane who take the prettiest pictures ever. https://www.instagram.com/jacquelinevangrootel

Until next time, sleep well Tingle Friends.
